Mark Collie Race Celebrity Race for Diabetes Cure

News Update

OCTOBER 2004 marks the 10th year since Mark Collie came up with the idea to put country music singers into race cars to race for a cure.

Many of Marks friends and their family members share his VISION to find a cure. Because of that support and success in donating over 2.5 million dollars to research, we CONGRATULATE the volunteers on a job well done!

Due to touring of the celebrity drivers and Marks filming schedule, the 2004 event has been postponed. We will continue to keep you posted on the next STARS,CARS & GUITARS EVENT.

Please look for the Daily Care Diabetes magazine available at Krogers Pharmacy. There is an article Showtime! How the Stars Juggle Diabetes & Work. Mark is featured along with Jean Smart, Designing Women; Larry King, host of Larry King Live; and Victor Garber from the hit series Alias.

Mark will be making an appearance at the
Saint Joseph Hospital in Marshfield, Wisconsin. He will be the keynote speaker for their annual professional and community program for diabetes advocacy on November 12-13, 2004.
